The best way of expressing your message in the digital world is through animated videos. Animation gives you the freedom to target your audience in a compelling, powerful and exciting way! You can express your complex idea, show-reel your brand or transmit emotions to public through visuals.

Why is it important for your audience to use short animated videos?

A short animated video is the one and only way of engaging with your targeted audience thourgh all communication styles:

1. Visual Communicators

You may already know that “a picture paints a 1000 words”. Visual communicators learn by seeing, and memorize by looking at pictures. Humans tend to be distracted by long sentences and that’s why appearance is so important to them. We, as humans, we give much importance to how the message looks.

2. Auditory Communicators

Hearing sounds make us more aware about the reality around us. Auditory communicators learn by listening and by what they hear. Humans like talking and listening to music or audio books. We, as humans, are most interested in how the message sounds.

3. Kinesthetic Communicators

Motions define us as logic creatures. Kinesthetic communicators learn by doing, moving, acting out, and hands on experience. We, as humans, are more engaged in how the message feels. And we do that by motions and animations.

So using short animated videos in whatever message you want to transmit you incorporate all the above mentioned communicators. In this way your audience will be most interested if your message makes sense.

More information about all types of communicators can be found here.

Animated videos have great impact on people …

Adding audio to your animated scene

You can import sounds by clicking the  ‘Import sounds’ button from either main menu or top bar menu. Once a popup window appears you have to select your wav|mp3|ogg|aac|mp4|m4a file from your local computer. You will see all the imported sounds under ‘Sounds’ node in the scene explorer.

All imported sounds can be seen in the animation dope sheet as per image below. Sounds that are hidden in the resource tree cannot be seen in the animation timeline. So you can play with hide / visible options in the scene explorer by clicking on the ‘sound’ button next to each audio resource.

Some basic information regarding the duration in seconds / number of frames of the imported file are also displayed.
